What will happen at my sons first dental appointment.

Hi,  I will be taking my son to his first dental appointment.  He is eighteen months old.  I been taking really good care of his teeth but felt it was time to take him to see the dentist.  I am just wondering what his first dental appointment would be like.  What do they do?
