What is the youngest age a baby can start teething at

Monday, Dec. 28th 2009 2:37 PM

My daughter is not quite three months and she has all the signs of teething.  The fussiness, biting  and drooling.  I put my finger in her mouth to feel her gums but nothing came though yet.  But she is less fussy as long as she as a teething ring.   I called my doctor and he said babies normally start teething around five months.  Is he right or can she just be teething sooner?  Anyone have a teething baby before five months?
