What what age do you think it is okay to have a cell phone
I have a 12 year old son. He has been bugging me about getting a cell phone. I told him that I would not get him a real cell phone until he is sixteen. Right now he only has a thirty minutes a month pay as you go phone. I got him that so that I can call him or he can call me if need be.
All his friend have a cell phone and I see even younger children with normal cells. I want to be fair but still think to let my son have a cell phone for anything more is not necessary. What is the age you would let your child have a cell phone account. Do you think I am being to hard about this issue?
