Maryland Dental insurance plan for a new born.

Maryland Dental insurance plan for a new born.  I have a new born baby girl and I would like to know at what age should I get her dental insurance.   I am not sure when a baby really needs to see a dentist.

However, I know some dental insurance plans have waiting periods so would it be better for me to get it now even though she still to young to go to the dentist or wait??  Not sure looking for some good advise.
