Do Babies Need Dental and Vision Insurance. I will be having our first child in four more months. My husband employer offer major medical but no benefits for dental and vision. He feels we may want to look into the cost of getting this additional coverage on our own. I just wondering if it is cost effective for us to do so now or should we wait until our child is older when he will really start to use such benefits.
