New Jersey legislature officially declares February as Children’s Dental Health Month.
From now on each year February will be designated as the month to increase public awareness of the importance of good oral health among all of New Jersey’s children. In addition all other public and private health entities, are encouraged to observe the month with appropriate activities and programs.
February is also when Give Kids A Smile is celebrated. Each year on the first Friday in February, thousands of the nation’s dentists provide free oral health care services to children from low-income families across the country.
