Baby Dental, Safety Tips on Baby Pacifiers.

Even though babies like sucking on pacifiers there are a few safety tips that one should keep in mind when using them in order to keep babies safe and their teeth healthy.

* Never dip your baby’s pacifier into honey or anything sweet before giving it to him or her

* Do not attach a pacifier to your child’s crib or body with a string, ribbon or cord.

* In order to avoid choking hazard, the pacifier’s shield must be wider then your child’s mouth. Discountinue use if your child can fit the entire pacifier in his or her mouth.

* A baby should never be left unattended with a paicifier in his or her mouth

* Never let your baby sleep with a pacifier in their mouth unattended.

* And never substitude a bottle nipple for a pacifier.
