Baby Dental, $1500 Maximum Limitation.

Friday, Jul. 3rd 2015 8:52 AM

Question: I have been looking into dental insurance plans for me and my four year old son. So I not sure if a $1500.00 max limitation is enough.  How much work can you get done for $1500.00? Also I not clear on if $1500.00 max is for both of us or is it $1500.00 per person.  Is that normally enough for a family a year?

Answer: Whether or not a $1500.00 maximum is enough or not would depend on your dental needs. If all you having is the twice a year cleaning and check ups and maybe a filling once in a while the $1500.00 should be fine. However if you have larger dental need like root and canal crowns, then $1500.00 may not be enough. In that case you may want to look for a plan with a higher maximum limitation such as $2000.00.  Also the maximum limitation is normally per person per year.
