Baby Dental, Pregnant and can not afford dental care

Monday, Sep. 21st 2015 6:01 AM

Question: I am seven months pregnant and I currently unemployed with no dental insurance. The last time I went to the dentist about a year ago I was told I had two filling that needed to be done.  At that time I could not afford to have them filled so I just got a cleaning.

Now one on of the teeth that need the filling is starting to hurt on and off.  I need to get the work done after I have my baby but by then I really will not have any money.  I need help.  Where can I go for free or at least go where the dentist would accept a payment plan.

Answer: Looking into going to a dental school to have the work done that is needed. Schools are low cost and some times free. Also look into getting a low cost dental insurance plan or even a dental discount plan.

Both are a good way to help reduce your dental cost. You do not need to be employed to have dental insurance. You can buy them yourself.
