Baby Dental, How can you tell if your baby has cavities
Question: My daughter’s teeth are just now starting to really come in. I been brushing them twice a day with warm water and a baby tooth brush. However how do you know if your baby get a cavity. What does a cavity look like? Where do they start? I would like to know so that I know what I am looking for when I brush her teeth.
Reply: Finding cavities in the teeth can be tricky, which is why a dentist should always be involved in diagnosing for cavities. Sometimes, cavities can go unnoticed for weeks or months and your dentist will find them during your regular exam. A baby should start seeing a dentist once they cut their first tooth.
