* Dental Visits: Until your child turns three you will want to see a dentist yearly  At the age of three and older, plan on making two visits at the dentist a year.

* Brushing Your Preschoolers Teeth: Parents should brush their preschoolers’ teeth and supervise brushing for school-age children until age seven or eight.

* Flossing: You will begin flossing when two or more teeth are touching, usually by age of two.

* Dental Toothpaste: Children three years and younger are most susceptible to tooth enamel defects caused by swallowing fluoride toothpaste. Use minimal toothpaste (size of a pea) and remind them to spit it out afterward.
