Appointment at the dentist
My son is a 11 months old and he now
has five teeth. I will be taking him in for his first dental appointment on Friday. I a have been told that I should have taking him in at six months but he only had one tooth at the time. I would like to have some idea as to what the first dental appointment is like. What dose the dentist do? What kind of questions should I ask? Any advice would help.

I just found out that my daughter has a bad tooth. The dentist told me that my daughter has a large size cavity on her back molar. The dentist told me not only should he do the filling but because it is rather big he should crown the tooth.
I do not have a problem with doing the filling but a crown on a baby tooth? I am not sure that is really nessary. My dental insurance will cover 80 % of the filling but only 50% for the crown. Should I pay to have it crowned or just get the filling?
